Sacramento Weir Widening

MVE is onsite for the Sacramento Weir Widening project, a crucial endeavor focused on reducing water levels in the Sacramento River by one foot to bolster flood control in the region.

Our field crew’s efforts have enabled several key tasks to progress, including earthwork activities to establish new levees for improved water management, pile driving operations to construct essential bridges, and the installation of concrete walls to reinforce the weir structure. Additionally, a specialized dewatering system has been implemented to efficiently handle groundwater and support safe excavation operations.
