300 Alamitos Apartments

MVE is currently working on a new 6-story affordable senior housing community at 300 Alamitos Avenue, Long Beach! This new development will consist of a five-story building featuring 82 one-bedroom apartments reserved for low-income and homeless seniors.

This five-story community of one-bedroom homes designed by Mercy Housing California will feature a large open space courtyard and recreation area, an indoor lounge and community space, as well as resident support services. The 0.59 acre site has excellent frontage on Alamitos Avenue and is approximately 4 blocks from the sand and ocean of Alamitos Beach. It is is well located within Downtown Long Beach's core which is undergoing a major urban revival with public and private investment.

Construction is scheduled for completion in late summer 2026.
