ATLANTA, GEORGIA - For the third consecutive year in a row, Mid-Valley Engineering has been chosen as one of the nations "Best Civil Engineering Firms to Work For" by CE News magazine. Mid-Valley Engineering ranked 29th on the national top 50 chart and listed 7th in the nation for the small firm category.

"I am honored that Mid-Valley has been recognized for three consecutive years as a great place to work. This award reflects why Mid-Valley Engineering has been able to recruit and retain a quality staff. We are dedicated to providing our employees with a high quality work environment that enables individuals to succeed and to contribute to the firm's success." said Kirk DeLaMare, President and CEO of Mid-Valley Engineering.

All of the firms that participated in the contest completed an extensive questionnaire about workplace practices and each employee was asked to complete an Employee Satisfaction Survey providing feedback on how satisfied they are with Mid Valley's workplace practices. Shanon Fauerbach, P.E., editorial director of CE News said," ...you should be very proud of your status as an 'employer of choice.' I expect that your dedication to your staff's career development and quality of life will reap tremendous rewards for your firm as a whole."

This contest was developed by CE News to provide readers with a meaningful ranking concerning human resources issues in the civil engineering industry, as well as to recognize and reward engineering firms that have outstanding workplace practices.

Mid-Valley Engineering will be featured in the October 2005 issue of CE News Magazine. A copy of the article and links to the top 50 firms will be available online at www.cenews.com in October.
