This road provides access to the Hualapai Indian Reservation. Improvements require construction staking and centerline reestablishment over approximately 5 miles. The work is being completed in accordance with the Bureau of Indian Affairs.

Surveying and construction staking for more than 5 miles in Mariposa County. Glacier Point Road is being repaved and resurfaced as it is one of the most accessible and frequently traveled roadways in Yosemite. MVE’s engineering team is providing storm drainage designs for drainage culverts and inlets along the roadway. This involves interpreting fi eld survey data and creating detailed design profi les based on conceptual data provided

with the project’s contract documents. They are drawn in accordance with Federal Highway standards.

MVE is providing construction staking for over 9 miles as per the U.S. Department of Transportation Federal Highway Administration improvement plans. Generals Highway will be widened to a 20 ft width traveled way with 1 foot shoulders.  In addition, MVE’s engineering team is responsible for providing storm drainage designs for drainage culverts and inlets along the roadway. This eff ort involves interpreting fi eld survey data and creating detailed design profi les based on conceptual data provided with the project’s contract documents. They are drawn in accordance with Federal Highway standards.

MVE will be providing Tutor-Saliba with construction staking services for this Caltrans project located in Lakehead, CA. Construction is currently anticipated to begin in late 2009 with completion in five years.  The estimated construction costs is $125 Million.

This project proposes to replace the Sacramento River (Antlers) Bridge on Interstate 5 in Shasta County over the Sacramento River arm of Shasta Lake near the community of Lakehead. The new structure will be a 1,942 foot long, 104 feet wide five span concrete bridge. This challenging structure will be constructed on a new parallel alignment slightly east of the existing bridge. In addition, a 0.4 mile long section of highway south of the bridge will be realigned and the existing 1,330 foot long concrete decked, steel truss structure will be demolished and removed. Traffic will remain on the existing bridge during construction.
