5.11 Tactical // Modesto, CA

MVE provided full design and production plans for this 5 acre design-build project featuring a combination office (18,000 sf) and tiltup warehouse (48,000 sf).

MVE’s tasks included grading and drainage design, coordination with design-build team on utility layout and orientation, coordination with Stanislaus County Fire and Environmental department through approval process, coordination of septic system designs which included tank sizing and geo-flow coordination.

Scenic Oaks Office Complex // Modesto, CA

The Scenic Drive Office Complex (Scenic Oaks) is a 9.8 acre office development directly adjacent to Dry Creek within the City of Modesto. Due to the condensed nature of the site, as well as the proximity to Dry Creek, a conventional stormwater treatment control device (i.e. vegetated swale or basin) was not feasible. Instead, MVE designed for a proprietary underground storage vault to be utilized as a treatment control device.

MVE worked closely with the supplier for the device to incorporate the device into the project design. A Maintenance Agreement was successfully executed between the project owner and the City, and the project was subsequently constructed.

Enterprise Business Park // Modesto, CA

MVE assisted Buzz Oates with the development of an industrial business park, located on Crows Landing and Morgan Roads in Modesto. MVE provided engineering and surveying consultation for both the East and West business park campuses.

This 80 acre industrial park included the design and construction of street improvements, boundary surveys, topographic surveys, grading and drainage designs and construction staking. The improvements consisted of 7,000 lf of streets of Glenn Avenue, Morgan Road, Crows Landing Road, Nelson Road and Oates Court, which included water, sewer and storm drainage improvements.

MVE also coordinated efforts with outside agencies such as Union Pacific Railroad and Turlock Irrigation District. MVE worked alongside Union Pacific Railroad for the sanitary sewer crossing, bore and extension of two railroad spurs. MVE also worked with Turlock Irrigation District for the relocation of 350 linear feet of an existing 36" pipeline along Morgan Road.

Additionally, MVE’s field survey crews performed construction staking for the business park.
